Chris & Cino Ready to Defend Title


JAKARTA - Two boxers from Indonesia, Chris "The Dragon" John and David "Cino" Jordan will return to the ring to defend their championship belts respectively. Chris will challenged boxer Thailand, while Jordan will face opponents from England.

Friday, November 9 next, at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, Chris John will face tough opponents from Thailand, namely Chonlatarn Piriyapino in a duel for the title super featherweight championship (57.1 kg) WBA version.



The duel was so usefull for The Dragon to add unbeaten record to 17 duel. The WBA championship belt (featherweight) have maintained a record owner of 47 matches unbeaten (22 KOs) since 2003 (nine years ago).

However, the mission of extending the record was certainly not walk easily. Because the opponent Piriyapino is one of the best boxers in the Asian region with a record unbeaten match in 44 (27 KO).

While in the same place, another Indonesian boxer, David "Cino" Yordan will also strive to maintain belt at featherweight champion IBO versions. This is the first fight after Jordan captured the IBO championship belt from Filipino boxer, Lorenzo Vilaneva May.

Kalimantan boxer with a record of 32 matches, two losses (23 KOs) will face veteran British boxer bloody Mongolia, Choi Tseveenpurev. Cino who were aged 25 years will faced Choi who is aged 41 years and has a record of 36 wins and 5 defeats.
